Welcome to this e-learning program on Healthcare and Homelessness in Canada. The purpose of this course is to equip you with the knowledge and tools to provide adequate and compassionate healthcare to members of the homeless population. It will provide a basis for understanding where the homeless come from, the circumstances they face on a day-to-day basis, and how you can help make the healthcare system more accessible for this underserved and marginalized population.
